Itinerary Overview
With just 7 days, you have a great opportunity to come up-close with primates and wildlife as you explore “Uganda – the Pearl of Africa”. Visit Kibale National Park, Bigodi Sanctuary on guided swamp walk, go game viewing Murchison Falls National Park & Queen Elizabeth National Park, Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking and gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Murchison Falls National Park Wildlife Trip, Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
We start our journey to Murchison Falls NP early after breakfast and drive for about 5- 6 hours via Luweero and en-route Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola will be your stopover point to enjoy rhino tracking experience for about 2 hours. Besides rhinos, there are lots of other wildlife to expect to encounter on rhino tracking including warthogs, antelopes, plus birds. After rhino watching, lunch will be provided in Masindi town then you reach Murchison Falls NP through Kichumbanyobo gate in the Southern side.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive, Launch Cruise & Top Of The Falls View
After breakfast, we leave early for a morning game drive for a chance to site the park’s wildlife such as leopards, lions, elephants, giraffes, hyenas, warthogs, birds, buffaloes, antelopes and more. After the game drive, we shall drive back to the lodge for lunch and some refreshments and then embark on the afternoon boat cruise via the Victoria Nile connecting to the bottom of Murchison Falls.
The boat trip will give you a chance to see lots of hippos, aquatic birds, the basking Nile crocodiles, etc. At the base of the falls, we shall take a trek to enjoy its view on the top and see how it squeezes itself into a narrow rock of 7-8m then breaks down 43m. We shall drive back to the lodge for an evening relaxation by the lodge.

Day 3: Day Game Drive & Transfer To Kibale Forest National Park Trip
After breakfast, we shall check out of the lodge and emback on our journey to Kibale Forest National Park which is also known as the primate city. We shall go through the park for a short game drive to see wildlife you might have missed during the previous game viewing safari. Exit Murchison Falls NP navigating via Hoima oil city to Fort Portal tourism city for lunch then to Kibale National Park in the western side a home to all 13 primate species- including a total of 1500 chimpanzees.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Swamp Walk
Wake up to an early breakfast and prepare to drive out for briefing about chimpanzee trekking rules at the park headquarters and also to have a ranger guide and a group for a guided chimpanzee tracking experience in the forest. Once we meet a chimpanzee family, you have one hour to have a face to face encounter with the human close relatives. In the forest, you have a chance to meet other primates, birds and tree species.
After the trek, we shall drive back to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon; we will go for a primate walk in Bigodi Swamp with chances to view incredible primates such as red tailed monkeys, vervet monkeys, blue monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, other mammals and birds.

Day 5: Transfer To Bwindi National Park Via Ishasha Sector
In the morning after a hot cup of tea or coffee, we leave Kibale National Park behind. We shall drive via Fort Portal to Queen Elizabeth National Park. When we reach the south of Queen Elizabeth NP, we shall go for a short game drive with a chance to encounter the tree climbing lions that are usually lazily sleeping in fig tree branches. In the game drive, we have a chance to see other wildlife such as elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, birds. After the game drive, we shall go for lunch before we proceed to Bwindi for evening refreshments, dinner and night sleep in the lodge.

Day 6: Gorilla Trekking Experience, Batwa Cultural Experience
After a delicious breakfast, we shall drive to Bwindi head offices for briefing on gorilla trekking rules and gorilla family allocation. We shall get a gorilla trekking family and a ranger guide and prepare to get into the forest to search for the mountain gorillas. While in the forest, we have a chance to encounter other wildlife that are residents of this park.
Once we encounter the gorillas, we shall be allowed 1 hour of magical encounter with the gorillas as we learn more about them. We shall return to the lodge for lunch and have a small relaxation then in the afternoon, we shall drive out for a cultural experience with the Batwa. In the community, we shall learn about the traditional life of the Batwa and how they survived in the forest.

Day 7: Transfer Back To Entebbe
Have early breakfast, after, meet the driver for transfer back to Kampala or Entebbe, but lunch stopover will be made in Mbarara. Photography at Equator or purchase some souvenirs at Mpambire drum making village then proceed to Kampala/Entebbe.
