Detailed Itinerary: Luxury Chimpanzee Trekking Tour
Day 1: Pick Up, Transfer For Domestic Flight To Kasese Airstrip
Upon arrival, you will be picked and transferred to board your domestic flight to Kasese Airstrip where you will catch your driver guide upon arrival for your journey to Kibale Forest National Park. On this road trip which is approximately 2hours drive. A long the journey, you will drive through craters. You will arrive right on time for check in, accompanied by a relaxation at the lodge with beautiful scenery.
Overnight:
Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking, Isunga Coffee Experience
Start our day with a delicious breakfast, and prepare to head out for the day’s activities. After breakfast, we shall head out for a drive to the point where the briefing takes place. After briefing you about the rules of chimpanzee trekking, you will be assigned a group and a ranger guide and start your journey into the thick forest.
Once you meet the chimpanzees, you will be given one hour to spend with them as you experience how they play, feed and other habits. Don’t forget to pull out your cameras and phones to take memorable photos and videos. There is also lot to see while in the forest such as birds, plants, butterflies and other forest animals. After the trek, your guide will pick you up and you head to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, we shall visit Isunga Community for a homemade coffee experience. We shall learn about coffee growing and then start the process of getting the powder. You are advised to buy some of the local handmade crafts to support the economy of the locals. We shall proceed back to the lodge to enjoy a leisurely evening, dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Community Walk, Transfer For Domestic Flight To Entebbe Airport
After a relaxed breakfast, we shall take a community walk with a local guide for a firsthand experience of local community, enjoy time exploring the crater lakes, food and cash crops grown like tea, coffee, vanillas and many more others. We shall then drive to Kasese Airstrip and board our domestic flight to Entebbe Airport as this marks the end of our 3 days chimpanzee tour.
