Overview
The 10 Days Uganda safari combines adrenaline adventures in Jinja and wildlife encounters in the National Parks. The activities this safari covers include white water rafting on the Nile River Jinja, game drives in Murchison Falls National Park and Queen Elizabeth National Park (at Ishasha sector) and a Walking Safari in Lake Mburo National Park to get you very close to wildlife, Mountain Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale National Park and Swamp/ Nature walk in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary.
We will also experience some boat trips for a chance to see aquatic wildlife and cultural tours to get an experience of the local culture lifestyle.

Itinerary
Day 1: Pick Up From Entebbe & Transfer To Jinja - Sezibwa Waterfalls Tour
When you land at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed to the Pearl of Africa from your driver guide. After a short briefing, you will start your journey to Jinja with a stopover at Sezibwa waterfalls for a Buganda cultural encounter. Later, connect to Jinja via Mabira Forest and on arrival, settle at the lodge for relaxation, lunch (if you didn’t have it) and in the evening you will have the best of a sunset cruise on Lake Victoria (optional).

Day 2: Half Day White Water Rafting, Drive Back To Kampala
After breakfast, we shall leave the lodge for briefing about white water rafting on Nile River and after, you will have half day to experience the tough rapids and grades ticking off the first of our adventurous activity for this tour. After, return to be served lunch at the lodge and meet the driver for a transfer back to Kampala for overnight.

Day 3: Transfer To Murchison Falls National Park Enroute Rhino Tracking
After breakfast, your guide will pick you from your hotels for your journey to Murchison Falls NP located in the Northwestern part of Uganda. Drive for about 4 hours to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track rhinos 2 hours’ for a walking rhino tracking experience and this will clear one of the big five from our list. Later connect to have lunch and refreshment in Masindi town before we proceed to Murchison Falls NP via the Southern gate- Kichumbanyobo gate and drive to the Northern bank to check into the lodge for an evening relaxation and retire for the night.

Day 4: Morning Game Drive Via Northern Bank & Nile Boat Trip
Enjoy an early hot cup of tea or coffee and drive to the park in search for early risers on our morning game drive taking 2-3 hours through the Northern banks of Murchison Falls NP. In your pop up roof vehicle, enjoy uninterrupted animal views in the savannas such as giraffes, elephants, cape buffaloes, lions, leopards, the Jackson hartebeests, Kobs, waterbucks, oribis, etc.
Return to the lodge for lunch and a bit of relaxation lunch and relaxation before we go for yet another unforgettable boat cruise to the base of the falls. In the shallow waters of the Victoria Nile with endless views of hippos swimming, the basking Nile crocodiles lined up along the river banks, lots of aquatic birds and more. Later when you get to the base of the falls, take the best shots of the waterfall then start the trek to view it on the top.

Day 5: Transfer To Kibale National Park Via Fort Portal
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast and prepare to check out for Kibale NP; a true primate capital of Uganda. The journey takes us through homesteads in the country side as locals go about their daily routines, towns, food markets and plantations where we can stop to stretch and take some photos. Lunch will be served to you but on arrival at Fort Portal; Uganda’s tourism city then you connect to the park via a crater lake visit.

Day 6: Chimpanzee Trekking Experience, Transfer To Queen Elizabeth NP, Boat Trip
After your breakfast, leave the lodge chimpanzee trekking adventure in the Kibale Forest. The park has abundant primates besides chimpanzees to be spotted plus birds. Upon locating chimpanzees in Kibale Forest, you will have the best of learning about their behaviors, habits, then take pictures for one hour before you drive back to enjoy lunch, after lunch, we shall leave the primate city behind for Queen Elizabeth NP via the craters, when we reach Queen Elizabeth NP, we shall go for a boat cruise on the famous Kazinga channel and end the evening with a simple game drive.

Day 7: Game Drive, Transfer To Bwindi Via Ishasha Game Drive
After breakfast, we shall drive to the park for an early game drive to catch up with early risers that call this place home. We have high chances to encounter wildlife such as lions, leopards, elephants, kobs among others. After the game drive, we will return to the lodge for lunch and prepare for a journey to Bwindi Forest NP; home to the mountain gorillas via Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth NP for a chance to spot tree climbing lions. In the park, we have chance to see other animals. We will reach the lodge in the evening for dinner and retire for the night.

Day 8: Gorilla Trekking Experience, Batwa Cultural Encounter
After an early breakfast, drive to the park head offices for a briefing about the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking. At this point, you will also be allocated a gorilla trekking group and ranger guide and then start your hike into the forest to search for human closest cousins and this experience is the highlight of this safari. Since the park is home to other birds, trees and mammals, you will encounter them during your hike.
Once you meet a gorilla family, you will be allowed one hour to take photos and learn more about the gorilla interaction in their natural habitat. After, you guide will pick you, return to the lodge for lunch and a bit of relaxation before you embark on a hike into the forest to meet the Batwa, who are also the first people to live in the forest. Have a good time listening to ancient stories of how these people lived and survived in the forest with endless music, dance and drama. We will return to the lodge for dinner and call it a day.

Day 9: Transfer To Lake Mburo National Park, Evening Boat Cruise
Enjoy a delicious breakfast and prepare to leave Bwindi for Lake Mburo National Park in Kiruhura. Lake Mburo NP is 370sq.kms and hosts 3 of the big 5 game; leopards, lions, buffaloes; large population of antelopes like impalas, elands, topis, waterbucks; warthogs, zebras, 350 bird species. Enjoy an evening boat cruise on Lake Mburo for 2-3 hours for you to sight variety of aquatic life like hippos, crocodiles, birds then relaxation at the lodge.

Day 10: Morning Game Drive, Departure For Entebbe
After breakfast, drive out to the park for a walking safari to get you closer to wildlife as they go about their morning jungle life such as zebras, giraffes, antelopes, birds and more in Lake Mburo NP. You can also engage in optional activities like horse riding or cycling before we drive through the park as you exit for Entebbe. We shall have a stopover at the Equator for a photo moment and lunch thereafter embark on our journey to Entebbe airport to mark the end of our 10 Days Uganda Wildlife & Primate Tour.
