Detailed Itinerary For The 6 Days Uganda Gorilla Trekking Tour
Day 1: Transfer To Kibale Forest NP
In the morning, you will be picked by your guide from your hotel to embark on your 6 Days Uganda safari. It is a long day’s drive so we shall have some stopovers along the way. We shall have our lunch enroute in Fort Portal. We shall continue with our journey to our final destination enjoying views from tea plantations and local towns as people go about their daily life. We shall reach the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking, Transfer To Queen Elizabeth NP
In the morning, we shall drive to Kibale Forest National Park headquarters for briefing about the dos and don’ts of chimpanzee trekking and get allocated a trekking group.We shall start our trek into the forest in search for chimps, in the forest, we shall have a chance to meet different species of monkeys for example red colobus, red tailed monkey and bush babies, we shall also meet butterflies and various bird species like the native Great Blue Turaco, joyful greenbul, olive long tailed cuckoo and the superb black bee eater.
When you finally meet the chimps, you will be allowed one hour with them as you take pictures and videos while learning about their behaviors. After the trek, your guide will pick you for lunch and then embark on our journey to Queen Elizabeth.

Day 3: Morning Game drive, Afternoon Kazinga Channel Boat Trip
Wake up to a sunrise breakfast, start our drive to explore Queen Elizabeth National Park in the cool morning. During the game drive we shall encounter wildlife start their jungle life like elephants, buffalos, big cats for example lions, leopards. Expect to meet warthogs, carnivals like Hyenas and many more species that inhabit this park. We shall return to the lodge for lunch and prepare for the afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga channel. It is a two hours cruise with a chance to spot hippos, buffaloes, crocodiles and spot a number of bird species along the banks of the channel.

Day 4: Tree Climbing Lions In Ishasha, Transfer To Bwindi
After breakfast, we shall transfer to Bwindi through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Ishasha sector is famous for its tree climbing lions in the fig tree branches and vast savannah area with topis and elephants. We shall then have lunch and proceed with our journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. When we reach the lodge, we can opt to enjoy a relaxation by the lodge or engage in local community activities.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking Experience, Batwa Community Experience
After an early breakfast, get ready for the trip highlight of this 6 days Uganda safari. We shall drive to the park headquarters for briefing and get allocated a trekking group. We shall be assigned a ranger guide before we start our trek into the forest. While in the forest, we have a chance to meet different birds, butterflies and plant species plus forest hog, forest Elephants, Statungas and Dikers.
When you meet the gorillas, you will be allowed one hour to spend with the gorillas as you take videos and photos and lean about their behaviours. After the trek we shall go for a cultural experience with a chance to learn about the way and life of the batwa community. We shall then embark on our journey to Lake Bunonyi.

Day 6: Transfer To Entebbe
Today marks the end of our 6 Days Uganda Safari. Wake up to an early morning breakfast and start on our journey to Entebbe. We shall have a stopover at the equator for some souvenir shopping and a lunch break in Masaka. We shall then drive to Entebbe and continue with our journey to Entebbe for our flight back home
