After your trek, you can enhance your Bwindi experience with optional activities such as visiting the inspiring Ride For a Woman Project, where local women showcase traditional crafts and cultural performances, or joining a Batwa community visit to learn about the fascinating history of the forest’s first people. Detailed Itinerary: Gorilla Trekking Group Tour
Day 1: Transfer To Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, you will start your journey for your 3 Days Gorilla Trekking GroupTour to Bwindi Forest via Masaka-Mbarara road for 8-9 hours. Along the journey, we will have a stopover at the Uganda Equator at Kayabwe for some photo and video moment and lunch at Igongo Cultural Centre or any favorable location. After the break, we shall embark on our journey driving through villages as the locals go through their daily routine. We shall check in at the lodge in the evening for a relaxation and retire for the night.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience

After an early breakfast, we shall drive to the park offices for briefing about gorilla trekking rules and also to be allocated habituated gorilla families to visit. Enjoy a trek via the verdant Bwindi Forest with higher chances of seeing other wildlife since the forest is home to over 200 tree species, 119 other mammals including colobus monkeys; 360 bird species, butterflies, floral species and more. When you finally meet a gorilla family, you will be given one hour for a face to face encounter and should be fully utilized for photography and learning more about the behaviors of mountain gorillas.
After we shall return to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon you have an option of visiting the Batwa pygmies – original dwellers of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The Batwa cultural visit to Batwa Pygmies’ community means a great chance of learning about their ancient way of living, norms, practices, traditions, cultures and others or Ride 4 a Woman Community Project where you can engage in some local activities or support the local community.

Day 3: Transfer Back To Entebbe

After breakfast, we shall leave Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and embark on our journey to Entebbe. It is a long day’s drive so we will have en-route in Masaka or Mbarara at the Eqator for some photo moment and gift or souvenir shopping before we proceed to Entebbe to mark the end of our 3 Days Gorilla Trekking Group Tour.

This is a group tour with travelers from all over the world!
The maximum is only 12 persons and the minimum is 6 persons.
If there are less than 6 persons, the tour will not be cancelled but we will ask for an additional payment. All information is as accurate as possible and we try to operate and deliver beyond the client expectation but in rare occasions things are a bit different and beyond our control and our service delivery is disrupted, we call it “This Is Africa!”, please bear with us as we put things right.
