Itinerary Overview
Have a great time with this 3 Days Chimpanzee Trekking Safari in Uganda’s Kibale Forest National Park. This forest is home to variety of mammals, primates, wildlife and bird species such as chimpanzees, baboons, red colobus monkeys, red tailed monkeys, vervet monkeys, black & white colobus monkeys, forest elephants, bushbucks, African buffallo among others.
This safari gives you a chance to experience Ugandan countryside, crater lakes and beautiful sceneries.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer To Kibale Forest National Park, Crater Lake Walk Experience
Upon arrival, your experienced guide will pick you and proceed for the journey to our destination; Kibale Forest National Park. Along the road trip to Kibale we shall go through villages and we can make a stop at a road side market to buy some fresh fruits and some stretching. We shall have lunch along the way; proceed to the crater lakes region before we head for check in at the lodge. We shall start our crater walk taking in beautiful scenery and sights of monkeys like black and white colobus monkey. After the walk we drive over to the lodge for an overnight.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking Experience, Community Walk
We shall start our day with a hot cup of tea or coffee and prepare to drive out to the chimpanzee trekking starting point. At this spot, you are briefed about the rules of chimpanzee trekking. You are then divided into groups of eight with a special guide. Trekking through the jungle starts at this point as now you start your hike into the forest. In the forest you will spot birds, butterflies and some trees.
When you reach the point where the chimpanzees are, you will be given one hour to spend with them; this is the moment we have been waiting for. After the trek in the forest your guide will pick you and take you back to the lodge. We shall have lunch and an afternoon relaxation at the lodge. Later in the afternoon, we shall head for a village walk in the community before we proceed to the lodge for our dinner and an overnight.

Day 3: Transfer Back To Entebbe
Enjoy a delicious breakfast and start preparing to check out. Say goodbye to the beautiful primate city and start our journey towards Entebbe driving through some tea plantations. We have come to the end our 3 Days Chimpanzee Trekking Safari.
