Itinerary Overview For The 4 days Tree Climbing Lions Safari
Sight the rare tree climbing lions in the south and a breathtaking nature walk in the Gorge as we search for the lost Chimpanzees of Kyambura. With just 4 Days, experience the best of the South and North of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Ishasha sector is home to the rare tree climbing lions in the southern part which are usually seen lying up in acacia or fig tree branches during a game drive. The park is also home to buffaloes, elephants, kobs, Topis among others.
We shall then proceed the 4 Days tree climbing lions safari to the Northern part for chimpanzee trekking in Gorge. The sunken forest , offers unbeatable views during a nature walk as we search the lost chimpanzees of Kyambura, once you descent deeper into it then comes alive the sound of chimps. This safari also offers a boat cruise trip on Kazinga channel where we shall spot water adapted animals and birds by the banks of the lake.
Detailed Itinerary For 4 Days Tree Climbing Safari
Day 1: Transfer To Ishasha Sector Of Queen Elizabeth NP
When you land at the airport, you will be picked by our experienced guide who will welcome you and start your journey for your 4 days safari. It is a long day’s journey so we shall have some stop overs along the way for example at the Equator for some demonstration, photo and video moment. We shall then continue with our journey and have another stop in Mbarara for lunch.
After lunch, we shall proceed on through the countryside. We shall reach the lodge in the evening and enjoy a sundown by the lodge, have dinner and an overnight.

Day 2: Morning & Afternoon Game Drives In Ishasha
After a delicious breakfast, we shall drive out and search for the uncommon but high spot of Queen Elizabeth NP the tree climbing lions in the big fig trees which can be spotted lazily relaxing in the branches. The park is also remarkable for beautiful scenic landscape as well as has a chance to spot other wildlife for example elephants, topis, buffaloes, antelopes, monkeys and more.
After a good sighting, we shall head back to the lodge for lunch and some relaxation then later in the afternoon we shall prepare and drive back to the park for a game drive with a chance to see what more Ishasha has to offer that we might have missed in the morning.

Day 3: Transfer To Queen Elizabeth NP, Afternoon Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise
Wake up to a delightful breakfast and prepare to set off for yet another thriving road trip to the North of Queen Elizabeth National park. Along the way we have a chance to spot birds, monkeys, elephants and if luck is on our side, even a leopard along the road is possible. We shall arrive at the lodge right on time for lunch and after our meal, we shall drive out for yet another unforgettable and remarkable experience on the famous Kazinga channel which connects Lake George to Lake Edward.
This boat trip gives you chance to spot land and water adapted animals that stay at the banks of the lake for example Hippopotamuses yawning, Nile Crocodiles, elephants that have come to quench their thirst and swim and a stunning view of birds. After this, we shall head back to the lodge for a leisurely evening, dinner and an overnight.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking, Transfer To Entebbe
Start the day with a hot cup of tea or coffee and prepare to head to the headquarters for briefing about rules of chimpanzee trekking. We shall then be allocated a trekking group and a ranger guide and start our journey into the forest to trek chimps. Once we meet the chimps, we shall be given one hour to spend with them and enjoy the life style of chimps playing, feeding and interacting with one another. After the trek, we shall start our journey back to Entebbe. We shall have a stop for lunch along the way before we proceed with our drive to Entebbe to mark the end of our 4 Days Tree Climbing Lions & Chimpanzee Trekking Safari.
