Itinerary Overview For 3 Days Lake Mburo Safari
Lake Mburo safari takes you to one of the smallest and unique savannah protected areas in Uganda the Pearl of Africa. Relax to the hidden gems of Lake Mburo National Park on this adventurous tour offering game drives and boat cruise, a walking safari in the park among other optional activities like horse riding, cycling among others. The park is characterized by a varied landscape of open savanna and acacia woodland, seasonal and permanent swamps, forest, and open water.
The Park is home to a number of wild games such as the Rothschild giraffes, zebras, elands, buffaloes, hippos, reedbucks, waterbucks, vervet monkeys, Uganda kobs, impalas, sitatungas, warthogs, mongoose, topis, bush pigs, and over 350 bird species including shoebill storks.
Detailed Itinerary For 3 Days Lake Mburo Safari
Day 1: Transfer To Lake Mburo NP, Afternoon Game Drive
In the morning, the guide will pick you up for a briefing aabout your 3 Days Lake Mburo Safari and then you embark on an approximately 4 hrs drive to your destination. The journey will take us through some towns as locals go about their daily routine and the country side. Along the journey, we shall make a stop at the Equator for some photo and video demonstrations and stretching.
We shall continue with our journey towards the lodge with an aim of arriving just in time for lunch. After lunch, we shall drive to the park for an afternoon safari driving through the savannas of Lake Mburo via the Kigambira loop trail with chance encounters of buffaloes, elands, zebras, and birds.

Day 2: Morning Game drive & Afternoon Boat Cruise
After an early breakfast, we shall go for a sunrise game drive to catch up with a chance to meet wildlife in their day break routine with excellent views of the rolling hills and 5 Lakes, with a chance for you to come across a myriad of wildlife such as bush bucks, zebras, klipspringer, elands, warthogs, waterbucks, impalas and birds. After, we drive back to the lodge for lunch and prepare for a boat trip on Lake Mburo for an opportunity to catch up with hippos, crocodiles and birds, and then you will get back for dinner and retire for the night.
On this day, we can also opt for a night game drive for you to encounter nocturnal species like leopards, jackals, hyenas and nightjar birds.

Day 3: Morning Safari Walk, Transfer To Entebbe
After a hot cup of tea or coffee, we shall drive to the park head offices for a morning safari walk (or we can opt for cycling/ horseback riding) in the park. The safari walk leads us to the salt lick area getting us close encounters with zebras, impalas and other wildlife confine to lick the salt. Return to the lodge for breakfast and there after proceed to Entebbe with a stopover at the Equator for lunch and souvenir shopping. Continue to Entebbe to mark the end of our 3 Days Lake Mburo Safari.

After breakfast, we shall head for the highlight of our 8 Days Fly In Uganda Luxury Tour. Drive to the park headquarters briefing about the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking. You will be allocated a gorilla trekking group and ranger guides then you start your trek in the forest. When you finally meet a gorilla family, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them learning and creating memories with them while also taking photos and videos.
In the afternoon, we shall go for a Batwa cultural encounter for a chance to learn about the cultural and traditions of the locals. Enjoy their music, dance and stories.
