Itinerary Overview

Murchison falls National Park hosts a large population of wildlife including elephants, lions, leopards, warthogs, Buffalo, giraffes, vultures, ibis, hamerkop , abyssinian ground hornbill, giant kingfisher, and gray – crowned crane( Uganda’s National Bird) not forgetting the most spectacular roaring waterfalls.
With the rolling savannah, tall grasslands and thick bush woodlands, Murchison Falls NP is enjoyable all year making it the best safari destination in Uganda.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival, Transfer To Pakuba Airfield
On this day, you will be picked from your hotel and transfer to catch your domestic flight to Pakuba Airfield. Once you reach Pakuba, you will meet your driver guide ready to welcome and pick you. You will drive through Murchison Falls for a great safari experience as you transfer to your lodge. You will have a tasty lunch and a relaxation at the lodge as we prepare for the next day’s activities.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive, Afternoon Boat Cruise
At sunrise, wakeup and have your tasty breakfast and prepare to drive out for your morning game drive in Murchison Falls National Park. The morning is a perfect time to site a number of animals such as elephants, lions, warthog, giraffes, Buffalos, bushbucks among others. After we have spotted as many animals as we can, we shall drive back to the lodge for a delicious meal.
After our lunch, we shall prepare and drive for our afternoon boat ride at the Nile banks and enjoy seeing different water birds like vultures, herons, eagles, kingfishers, ibis, ducks, and others animals like the reptiles that come to the banks to sunbathe. After our cruise we shall drive back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight.

Day 3: Transfer To Entebbe, Rhino Trekking
In the morning, have a hot cup of tea or coffee and prepare to check out and bid farewell to the lodge as we are coming to the end of our safari. We shall proceed with our journey to Entebbe by road. On our way, we shall have a stopover for one hour at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino trekking. Continue with your journey to Entebbe for your flight back home.
