Itinerary Overview
Kidepo National Park is considered one of Africa’s most remote and less explored destinations. It is characterized by expansive savannahs, mountain ranges; a rocky gem, semi-arid park isolated in the far end of Northeastern Uganda ranking as one among the most prized destinations in Africa. Kidepo boasts as the most scenic national park on the African continent with diverse wildlife and birds making your trip full of adventure and unforgettable memories. Animals found here include lions, zebras, giraffes, antelopes, buffaloes.
Nature walks can be done around Apoka Camp with a chance to observe elephants, reedbuck and zebras.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Domestic Flight To Kidepo National Park, Evening Game Drive
On this day, you will be picked from your hotel and transferred to Entebbe airport for your domestic flight to Kidepo National Park. The flight gives you beautiful aerial views of the countryside landing at Kidepo Airfield. Once you arrive, your guide driver will transfer you to the lodge for check in and lunch, relax until we head out for our evening game drive with higher chances of seeing animals like African elephants, Jackson’s hartebeest, jackals, buffaloes, lions and Klipspringer. You also get a chance to see the amazing Narus Valley and later after the safari, drive back to the lodge.

Day 2: Morning Safari, Karamoja Cultural Experience
After breakfast, you will go for an early morning safari with a chance to spot more wildlife we might have missed on our previous game drive. During morning hours, you have a high chance of spotting different animals since they seem more active so let us all be alert and on the look for antelopes, buffaloes, zebras, and lions.
We shall proceed for lunch break before heading out for the Karamoja cultural experience for a chance to encounter and learn about traditional dances, storytelling and demonstration of daily activities like making beads and pottery. Feel free to interact with these people as this helps you get immersed into their culture spicing up the whole experience with a deep appreciation for the cultural heritage of these people.

Day 3: Transfer Back to Entebbe
We are coming to the end of our 3 days fly in Kidepo safari. After a relaxed breakfast, prepare to check out and leave the beautiful scenic Kidepo behind. The driver will take you to Kidepo Airfield to get your domestic flight back to Entebbe for your flight back home.
