This 3 days Fly in Gorilla Trekking Safari to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a magical journey into the dense tropical forest of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to see mountain gorillas in the their natural habitat by domestic flight. Experience close encounter with mountain gorillas on this safari by domestic flight as you will be cutting short the tiresome long hours’ drive to Bwindi by road and enjoy unforgettable classic aerial views of Kigezi hills, Lake Bunyonyi and the tropical rain forests of Bwindi .
This safari also involves a cultural experience where we shall visit the Batwa Community and have a chance to experience different activities like community walks, storytelling and more from the community.
Detailed Itinerary For The 3 Days Fly In Gorilla Trekking Safari
Day 1: Arrival, Transfer To Kihihi Airstrip
When you reach Entebbe Airport, our company personnel will pick you and transfer you for your domestic flight to Kihihi Airstrip. When you land in Kihihi, our guide will be waiting to meet you and you start your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. It is about 2 hours’ drive to the lodge, check in and enjoy a tasty lunch and an evening relaxation by the lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience, Batwa Community Experience
In the morning, have a delicious breakfast and prepare to drive out to the park headquarters for briefing. In the briefing session, you will be told about the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking, you will also be allocated a group and a ranger guide to kick starts your journey into the forest. While in the forest you will meet other forest inhabits for example bird species, flora and primates like vervet monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys and others.
When you meet a gorilla family, you will be given one hour to experience the life style of gorillas. At this point feel free to record videos and take photos of these beautiful mesmerizing creatures. After this exciting experience, you will leave the forest and meet your driver guide, drive to the lodge for lunch and prepare to go for Batwa community experience in the afternoon which means a great chance of learning about the ancient way of living, norms, practices, traditions, cultures of the forest people.

Day 3: Transfer To Kihihi Airstrip For Fight To Entebbe
Wake up to a delicious relaxed breakfast with beautiful views and then prepare to check out of the comfortable lodge. Drive to Kihihi Airstrip for your scheduled domestic flight to Entebbe Airport where you will meet our guide ready to welcome you and take you to a hotel in Entebbe or at the airport for your flight back home. This will mark the end of our 3 days Fly in Gorilla Trekking Safari in Bwindi.
