Itinerary Overview
Leave familiar things behind and let the eyes, mind and body find new things to experience, beds to lay, water to drink and fresh air to breath in this two-day Sipi tour. Sipi is a truly magical destination, located in Kapchorwa district, in the east of Uganda, under the foothills of giant Mountain Elgon.
It is a unique feature with three stunning waterfalls in one place, a lush bamboo plantation and the by the end of the tour you should have known about Arabica Coffee; one of Uganda’s export crops. The route to Sipi falls is marked by lots of rolling hills and lush vegetation. It starts and ends in Entebbe International Airport, Kampala Capital City or any drop off point.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Depart To Sipi Falls - Enroute Boat Cruise At Jinja
After breakfast, we start off with a briefing by our tour driver guide, after which you will embark on a 4 -5 hours’ drive to Sipi falls. Activities and smiles start on the very first day of the trip and then each passing minute has something to offer.
You will get to enjoy breathtaking views of
the landscape, Mabira forest, magical Jinja Cable Bridge, plantations and the
hills. You will have a stopover in Jinja, where you will have a boat ride to
the source of R. Nile, the longest river on earth. You will have lunch there
and later proceed with the drive to your lodge in Sipi area.

Day 2: Sipi Falls Hike & Coffee Plantation Tour
At daybreak, everything on breakfast will be served, before going for a briefing about the hike to the magical three falls of Sipi. The guide will explain to you what is required. Sipi Falls is at the slope of the giant Mountain Elgon in the eastern part of Uganda. As you hike, the ranger guide will point out different coffee plantations encountered along the way and culture of the people living in this area.
After the amazing tour, you finally arrive at the spot, with the deafening sound of the thundering waters, in the three falls on varying levels. You will have lunch; take photos and an experience of having a bath under a waterfall and after the fun time, return to your lodge to check out for departure back to Kampala or any other drop-off point of your choice.
